Since its establishment, the Bihar Rabita Committee has been continuously working for the upliftment of the weaker sections of society and minorities through educational advancement, employment support, women’s empowerment, and awareness about government schemes.
In addition to these activities, the organization has consistently worked on humanitarian grounds for relief and rehabilitation among deprived communities and families affected by disasters. Apart from flood and fire victims, every year it undertakes winter relief efforts to protect human lives, distributing assistance purely on humanitarian grounds and without any discrimination across most districts of Bihar through its volunteers.
In the previous year 2024–25, 5,200 double-size blankets were distributed. Our objective has always been to ensure that relief materials reach remote and far-flung villages of the districts, a task successfully carried out by it’s volunteers. In the current year 2025–26, this activity was also completed. A brief report is presented herein:
